Privacy Policy
Effective [effective date] · Last updated [date]
The short version. You give us information about your business and yourself so that funding providers can decide whether to make you an offer. We share that information with those providers, and with the vendors that help us run this service. We do not sell it. Applying involves a soft credit inquiry, which does not affect your credit score.
This summary is for orientation only. The sections below govern.
This policy explains what Lyquidity Capital LLC (“Lyquidity Capital,” “we,” “us”) collects when you visit lyquiditycapital.com or submit a funding application, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you submit an application we ask for:
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Business information | Legal business name, DBA, entity type, federal tax ID (EIN), date the business started, industry, NAICS code, business address |
| Owner information | Name, email address, mobile number, date of birth, percentage of ownership, Social Security number, home address |
| Financial information | Amount requested, average monthly revenue, estimated credit score, use of funds, and the bank statements you upload |
| Authorisations | Your electronic signature, the date and time it was made, and the IP address it was made from |
We ask for a Social Security number because funding providers use it to verify identity and to obtain credit information about the owner of the business. We ask for bank statements because deposit history, not credit score, is the main thing an advance is sized against.
Information collected automatically
Our web server records ordinary request information such as IP address, the pages requested, timestamps and user-agent string. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics on this site. Fonts on this site are served by Google Fonts, which receives the IP address of your request as a technical necessity of delivering them.
Information from others
Funding providers and verification services may return information to us about your application, including offers, declines, and the reasons for them.
2. How we use it
- To prepare and submit your application to funding providers.
- To generate the signed application document that accompanies your submission.
- To communicate with you about your application.
- To verify identity and reduce fraud.
- To operate, secure and improve this website and our internal systems.
- To comply with legal obligations and to establish or defend legal claims.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
3. Who we share it with
Funding providers. This is the core of what we do. Lyquidity Capital is a broker: we submit your application, including the bank statements and the signed application document, to third-party funding providers so they can underwrite it and decide whether to make an offer. Once a provider receives your information, its own privacy policy governs what it does with it. We do not control those practices.
Service providers. We use vendors to host this site and store documents (Amazon Web Services), and to deliver email. They may process your information only to provide those services to us.
Our own systems. Applications are delivered to the customer relationship system we use to manage funding submissions, where they are visible to our staff.
Legal and safety. We may disclose information where required by law, subpoena or other legal process, or where necessary to protect our rights, your safety or the safety of others.
Business transfers. If Lyquidity Capital is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction.
4. Credit inquiries
When you submit an application you authorise Lyquidity Capital and its funding partners to obtain consumer and business credit reports about the business and its owners, and to verify the information you supplied, including with banks and trade references.
Applying through this site involves a soft credit inquiry, which does not affect your credit score. A funding provider may require additional verification, including a hard inquiry, before final approval. Where a hard inquiry would be made, that is a decision of the funding provider and is disclosed to you before it happens.
5. Calls, texts and email
By providing your mobile number and submitting an application, you agree that we and the funding providers we submit to may contact you at that number about your application, including by text message and by automated or prerecorded means. Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of obtaining funding. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out of further texts, or HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not stop us from contacting you by phone or email about an application already in progress.
6. How long we keep it
Uploaded documents. Bank statements you upload and the application document we generate are stored in encrypted cloud storage and are automatically deleted three days after they are created. The links we hand to funding providers expire within 48 hours.
Your Social Security number. We hold it only for as long as it may still need to be re-sent to a funding provider, and delete it from our delivery queue as soon as the submission is confirmed as received.
Application records. We retain records of applications and communications for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy and to meet legal, accounting and recordkeeping obligations, typically [retention period — confirm].
Server logs. Our application logs deliberately exclude the contents of your application; they record identifiers and outcomes only.
7. How we protect it
Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit. Uploaded documents are encrypted at rest, stored in a private location that blocks public access, and reachable only through short-lived signed links. Access to the credentials that sign those links is restricted, and our systems are configured so that application contents are never written to ordinary logs.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Cookies and analytics
This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, this policy will be updated before the change takes effect.
9. Your choices and rights
You can decline to provide information, though we cannot submit an application without it. You may ask us to access, correct or delete the information we hold about you, subject to our legal and recordkeeping obligations, by writing to us at the address in section 13. Once your application has been submitted to a funding provider, you will need to contact that provider directly about information it holds.
10. State privacy rights
California. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, California residents may request to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the categories of sources, the purposes for collecting it and the categories of third parties with whom we share it; request deletion; request correction; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, so there is no “Do Not Sell or Share” action to take. Note that information collected purely in a commercial, business-to-business context may be treated differently under that law.
Other states. Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have comparable rights. [Confirm which state regimes apply — counsel]
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using section 13. We will verify your request before acting on it, and you may use an authorised agent.
11. Children
This site and our services are for businesses and for individuals aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above, and where the change is material we will provide a more prominent notice.
